A Milwaukee woman allegedly stabbed a man, then ran him over with her car multiple times, killing him. Now, she has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide and use of a dangerous weapon after she
Lydia Carmona-Cartagena, 23, allegedly hit and killed Chad Wilson, 41, early on Dec. 9 near 60th and Stark, FOX 6 reported.
Carmona-Cartegena told police she only knew the victim for 24 hours before the incident, though they had met on Facebook a few weeks earlier, according to FOX 6.
She admitted to police that she and Wilson had hung out drinking and doing drugs, FOX 6 reported. He allegedly became upset with her and she asked him to drive her home, according to FOX 6.
During the drive, Wilson told Carmona-Cartagena to get out of the car and stopped on Stark Street. Wilson got out of the car and the defendant followed, FOX 6 reported.
Upset that she would have to walk with a big bag of clothes, Carmona-Cartagena allegedly took out a knife and approached Wilson in the street, according to FOX 6.
According to the criminal complaint obtained by FOX 6, Carmona-Cartagena stabbed Wilson three times in the legs and stomach.
Wilson fought back until he could get the knife from her and laid down in the street, the complaint states.

Carmona-Cartagena took Wilson’s car keys and got into the car, proceeding to run him over, according to FOX 6. She missed a few times, but came back to hit him multiple times to “make sure he was dead,” the complaint read.
Surveillance footage from a local church showed the entire altercation, FOX 6 reported.
In her interview with police, Carmona-Cartagena said she knew she had the opportunity to drive away, but she thought Wilson “was a gang member, had access to guns and would come and retaliate,” according to FOX 6.
After leaving the scene, Carmona-Cartagena came back to the area and noticed a car parked in the alley, FOX 6 reported. She assumed the person was calling 911.
She parked the car, got out and knew Wilson was dead, according to FOX 6. The complaint says she then bent down to close his eyes before driving away.
Carmona-Cartagena was arrested at her residence a short time later, according to FOX 6.
