A post-funeral luncheon in Minnesota was interrupted when a shooting took place, leaving two people in critical condition.
Police are hunting for the suspect who pulled the trigger.
On Jan. 22, officials said about 100 people were gathered for a luncheon at the Cora McCorvey Health and Wellness Center in Minneapolis after a funeral service when a man showed up and started an argument.
According to authorities, shots were fired.
Officers said the suspect fled the scene, as a man and woman were taken to a local hospital in critical condition, the StarTribune reported.
Minneapolis police spokesman Garrett Parten spoke with the StarTribune and said, "There seems to be a lack of sensitivity to the sanctity of life, and that leaves many aching for understanding as to how something like this could happen. It's family and friends gathered to honor the life of someone who has passed. It's wrong."
The investigation continues and police are asking anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
