Los Angeles 6-Year-Old Girl Now Missing for Over Three Decades Last Seen Picking Peaches in Neighbor’s Yard
Over three decades have passed since a 6-year-old girl disappeared without a trace from near her family’s Los Angeles home.
Sometime between 2 and 5 p.m. on June 30, 1994, Crystal Ann Tymich was last spotted picking peaches from a tree located in her neighbor’s yard in the Hyde Park area of South L.A.
Tymich stayed outdoors when her three brothers left her to go back to their house, and when they returned to tell her to come inside, she was gone.
Tymich was dressed in a pink t-shirt, shorts with a floral print and tennis shoes with a mermaid on them, according to the FBI.
The Charley Project reported that in 2005, investigators searched the crawlspace of a residence across the street from Tymich’s home. Bones belonging to animals were found, but nothing related to Tymich’s disappearance was uncovered.
Investigators have few clues to go on in the case, and neighbors reported noticing nothing unusual around the time the child went missing.
The Charley Project reports Tymich’s family continues to live in the same home where she lived 29 years ago.
