A missing Wisconsin woman’s body has not been found, but police say an Iowa man has been arrested and charged in connection to her killing.
On June 16, police said the father of 30-year-old Rachel Reuter of Wisconsin reported her missing.
Officials started investigating and gathered information, which led them to a home in Bondurant, Wisconsin, according to FOX 6.
The sheriff’s department said, “Information and evidence gathered shifted this incident from a missing person investigation to a homicide investigation,” FOX 6 reported.
Police now believe 46-year-old James Shiloh Klever killed Reuter at the home in Bondurant on June 13, but the remains of her body have yet to be found.
Clever has been arrested and he was charged with first-degree murder, as well as possession of a controlled substance, authorities said.
He is being held in the Polk County Jail on a $1 million bond, FOX 6 stated.
