Mississippi Babysitter Accused Of Abusing Two Children, Killing One: Police

A Mississippi babysitter who police say abused two children, killing one, was arrested.
According to WMC, Makallie Durham, 23, was watching a 2-year-old boy who died and an 11-month-old girl who was injured. She is charged with capital murder and felony child abuse.
WMC reported that deputies were called to a home on County Road 380 in Corinth, Mississippi for the report of a 2-year-old unresponsive and a baby injured. According to the Alcorn County Sheriff's Office, both were taken to the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where the boy died and girl remains hospitalized.
According to WMC, officers found that the two children were being watched by Durham, their babysitter. Police said Durham also had a misdemeanor warrant out of Corinth.
WMC reported that the sheriff's office hasn't released information explaining what led to the child's death.
