Woman broke into a home and stabbed another person to death, Mississippi cops say
A woman stabbed another person to death and now faces a murder charge.
Around 3 a.m. on March 24, the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office in Mississippi responded to Kirby Road after a man said someone broke into his home and stabbed his girlfriend.
Briana Jackson had been stabbed multiple times and the witness said Asha Amos was the suspect.
Police arrived at the scene and searched Amos’ vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office. There, they found evidence that led to her arrest. However, investigators did not disclose what evidence or a possible motive in the stabbing.
Jackson was taken to the hospital and died from her injuries on March 24.
Amos was charged with capital murder and was booked into Tunica County jail.
