A 29-year-old woman faces a murder charge in Mississippi, though cops have only released scant details of the alleged crime.
Around 12:15 a.m. on June 8, police in Oxford, Mississippi, responded to South Lamar Boulevard for a reported gunshot victim.
When police arrived on scene, they found both the victim and the suspect.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The person’s name has not been released.
Investigators also didn’t release a motive or what happened that led to the shooting.
But officers charged Alexandria Griste, 29, with first-degree murder. She is being held in jail on $1 million bond.
