36-Year-Old Man Accused Of Killing 68-Year-Old Wife, But Police Haven't Said Why He Did
A 36-year-old man is accused of killing his 68-year-old wife and now faces a murder charge.
Last week, police in Columbia, Mississippi, announced the arrest of Ellis John Peavy, 36, in connection to the murder of his wife, Patricia L. Peavy, 68.
Around 10:15 a.m. on April 19, Columbia police responded to McNeese Street for a report of an unresponsive woman.
When officers arrived, they found Patricia Peavy dead and determined her death was a homicide. Though, Columbia police have not said how the woman died or why they believe her husband is the killer.
Investigators have also not released a motive in the case.
Ellis Peavy was arrested and charged with murder. He was booked into jail and bond was set at $1.5 million.
