A man is accused of shooting and killing his roommate, a college football player in Missouri, during an argument, according to reports.
Last week, police in Fayette, Missouri, responded to a home for a reported shooting. There, Torrance Evans was shot and killed in a home, according to KOMU. He was a member of the Central Methodist University football team.
Witnesses said Kundarrius Taylor admitted to the shooting, according to the report. Taylor returned to the home after the incident and was arrested.
Taylor told police that there was an argument between the two, and he shot the victim twice, KOMU reported.
He also said they hadn’t been getting along for weeks and he “felt disrespected by Evans on numerous occasions,” according to KOMU.
On Aug. 27, the football team held a moment of silence to honor Evans, according to KMIZ. Students also held a fundraiser for his funeral expenses.
