Missouri Man Accused Of Separate Shootings — One Fatal — Months Apart
A man in Missouri faces charges in connection to two shootings, one of them being fatal, police said.
Darius Adams was arrested by officers from the Springfield Police Department in Missouri on April 4. He was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action in connection to separate 2021 shootings.
He is being held without bond in the Greene County jail.
Around 10:40 p.m. on Aug. 18, police responded to a business parking lot for a 911 call of shots fired and a person hurt, according to Springfield police. Police arrived and found the victim with multiple gunshots.
That victim was taken to the hospital and later released, police said.
Then, on Dec. 4, police responded to a home for a reported shooting. There, they found Trevor Hale, 41, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators said Adams was responsible for both shootings, though authorities did not say how they determined he was the suspect.
