The following morning, on June 16, agents with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation discovered the missing mother’s body in rural Ford County at around 4:15 a.m., while her daughter’s remains were located in Kinsley about an hour and a half later.

Police have released few details about the case, including how the two were allegedly killed or a possible motive.

Family and Friends set up a GoFundMe page after the victims were found dead. The page had raised about $2,000 as of June 17.

"At this moment, we know they are no longer with us, and we need help with raising funds to help lay these beautiful babies to rest," the page read.
