Kentucky Motorcyclist Accused of Murder After High-Speed DUI Crash During Police Pursuit Kills Passenger: Cops
A Kentucky man is behind bars after a high-speed motorcycle chase resulted in the death of a woman, authorities said.
On the evening of May 7, Conner McGuire of Richmond was on a motorcycle with the victim when police began pursuing him, Kentucky State Police said, WKYT reported.
During the pursuit, police said McGuire turned onto a highway while speeding and lost control of his motorcycle, which slid down the road.
McGuire was taken into custody at the scene, and the woman riding on the motorcycle was airlifted to an area hospital, where she was later pronounced dead from her injuries.
Police have not released the crash victim's name.

According to WKYT, McGuire now faces multiple charges in connection with the deadly crash, including murder, reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance, and operating a vehicle while under the influence.
