Texas man killed his sister and her boyfriend in shooting, police said
A Texas man is accused of killing his sister and her boyfriend, police said.
Around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 27, police responded to a Plano, Texas, home to check on the residents.
Police went to one home where they were told a murder happened. Inside, they found two victims with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Plano police.
The victims were identified as Brittany Rayne Richards, 28, and Ross Linford Escalante, 26. The two were in a relationship, police said.
Investigators identified Blake Ryan Richards, 29, as the suspect in the case and he was arrested in Wylie, Texas, Plano police said. Blake was Brittany’s brother, according to police. Investigators have not released a possible motive in the killing but said the incident remains under investigation.
Blake Richards was charged with capital murder and is being held in the Collin County Detention Center on $1 million bond.
