Two Men Arrested, Woman Wanted After Landlord Found Dead In His Home, Police Say
An apartment tenant in Nevada is charged with murdering his landlord, while the tenant's daughter is wanted by authorities, according to police.
Tuolumne County Sheriff's Deputies say Ben Lindsey, 63, was found dead at his Columbia home on March 15. The cause of death is listed as blunt force trauma, authorities said.
Video cameras and searches helped authorities arrest Jon Starkweather, 63, on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit a crime and robbery.
Authorities learned that Starkweather recently had his daughter, 28-year-old Sabrina Starkweather and her boyfriend, 22-year-old Kasual McGuire-Meder stay at his residence.
McGuire-Meder was already in a nearby Nevada jail on other charges. Tuolumne County deputies booked him for suspicion of murder, conspiracy to commit a crime, robbery and taking a vehicle without consent.
Lindsey's Jeep was missing for days before his body was found, authorities said. It's not clear if Sabrina Starkweather has it.
