West Virginia Woman Accused of Murdering Her 92-Year-Old Mother with Morphine
A West Virginia woman is charged with murdering her 92-year-old mother with bottles of morphine, according to authorities.
Authorities say Doris Watson, 65, killed Marjorie Hayhurst on Monday, April 10.
Hayhurst's body was found the next day, after Watson reportedly told someone what she did. The person who heard that notified Marion County authorities.
Detectives told WBOY-TV that Watson, who was Hayhurst's home caregiver, gave her two bottles of morphine.

WDTV reports a search of Hayhurst's home reportedly found three empty bags of morphine.
Watson was held Thursday without bond.
