Four Men Found Dead In Southern Colorado In Recent Weeks. Police Say One Man Is Responsible.
A Colorado man was arrested in connection to the slayings of four men in late April, authorities said.
Police arrested Carlos Ulises Diaz, 21, on May 19 and charged him with four counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of Anthony Moore of El Paso County, Manuel Zegarelli of Pueblo, Vehto Finnell-Vigil of Pueblo and a man from Colorado Springs authorities have not yet identified, KXRM-TV reported.
According to the station, the Colorado Springs Police Department and the Pueblo Police Department independently began investigating the murders that fell in their respective jurisdictions and named Diaz a suspect in all four.
Authorities said the four victims all knew Diaz, who was booked into the El Paso County jail.
The murder investigations are ongoing, and police are asking for the public’s help to identify the fourth victim.
Police records show the man may be in his late 20s, is possibly Hispanic, and has an Aztec eagle tattoo on his chest.
