Arkansas Murder Suspect Escapes Detention Center By Driving Away in County Truck, Cops Say
Authorities in eastern Arkansas launched a manhunt for an accused killer who escaped jail in a county vehicle, officials said.
According to the St. Francis County Sheriff’s Department, Jonathan Paulman was last seen about 8:30 p.m. on June 9 at an area detention center, WMC reported.
Law enforcement officials said Paulman fled in a white Dodge four-door pickup belonging to St. Francis County.
Paulman was being held since January on murder and abuse of a corpse charges after the body of 39-year-old Brandon Lee Jones was located buried on his property in Forrest City.
On June 13, WHBQ-TV confirmed Paulman was back in custody at the St. Francis County Detention Center.
