Texas Murder Suspect On Run Since Deadly Drive-By Shooting In Louisiana Last Summer Captured In Maine: Police
Police in Maine said they have arrested a man suspected of killing a woman last summer in Louisiana.
Christian Myers, 22, was apprehended on an outstanding warrant in Scarborough, Maine, and he faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder, and assault by drive-by shooting in connection with the murder of Veronique Allen on Aug. 23 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, WWL reported.
Investigators claim Myers, who lived in Houston, Texas, has been on the run since the shooting.
The suspected killer was captured after he got into an altercation at a business in Maine. Responding officers ran his name through the National Crime Information Center and discovered he was wanted down south.
Myers, who was charged in Maine with a fugitive of justice count, is expected to be extradited to Louisiana.
The investigation into the murder continues, and police believe at least two other suspects could have been involved in the deadly incident.
