‘It Looks Like a Spaceship’: Mysterious UFO Hovers Over Colorado Amphitheater, Disappears into Thin Air
A recent UFO sighting at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado caught the attention of at least a dozen witnesses.
Knewz.com reported that a disk-shaped, dark metallic object was observed hovering approximately a mile away from the spectators for about 30 seconds around an hour past midnight before it vanished.
According to the National UFO Reporting Center, the anomaly, which measured about 100 feet in length, hovered above the trees at the open-air venue and displayed lights. When it departed, it moved eastward at a speed of five to ten miles per hour.
One witness described the experience: "We saw a large disc-shaped craft with three levels of windows. It hovered silently and then disappeared into thin air."
Another account from an individual working at the amphitheater recounted the moment a coworker exclaimed, “Hey, what is that over there? It looks like a spaceship.”
The witness continued, "We all turned to look in the direction he was pointing, and sure enough, there was a UFO hovering about a half a mile to a mile north of Red Rocks. A dozen of us saw it. We all kept asking each other, 'Are you seeing this too?' It was a resounding 'yes' from everyone in the group."
Describing the craft, they added, "What we saw was a classic disc-shaped metallic craft that was several hundred yards long. It had three levels of windows, almost like a really long three-story office building. This thing was totally silent. It didn't make a sound."
The witness detailed the object's departure: "What’s even crazier is that as soon as we all started noticing it and stopped what we were doing to pay attention to it, the craft tipped at an angle and slowly started moving belly-first to the east. Then it started fading away until it was invisible. It didn't shoot off into the distance. It simply dissolved into the ether. We all watched it vanish."

Convinced of what they saw, the observer stated, “This was not a plane. It wasn't a satellite, a drone, or anything like that. There was no mistaking what this was: We all saw a giant disc-shaped craft hovering a few hundred feet above the ground with three rows of windows and lights. Then we all saw it fade into nothing as soon as it knew it was being watched. There were a dozen other people who saw it with me.”
The National UFO Reporting Center, a non-government, nonprofit organization based in Washington, notes that with this latest sighting, the total number of reported sightings has reached 181,776.
Despite such reports, skepticism remains strong within government institutions. The emergence of whistle-blowers like David Grusch has placed the Pentagon at the center of the UFO debate, as it continues to fend off accusations of withholding information.
