Near-Naked Florida Woman Charged With Murder After Reportedly Seeing 'Demons In The Sky': Police

A near-naked woman who was reportedly climbing trees on Florida's Gold Coast appeared in court Monday in a murder investigation.

A statement issued Sunday by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said Sheree Williams, 34, was arrested for a Saturday homicide.

“Williams was detained after being found running naked in the neighborhood,” a Facebook post said. An arrest report shows she actually was topless and wearing green underwear.

Deputies received their first call about a naked woman climbing a tree outside West Palm Beach around 9:15 a.m. on March 26.

After Williams was captured in a drainage canal, an investigation led deputies to a home where a woman was found dead.

The arrest report obtained by WPEC-TV said Williams confessed strangling the unidentified victim with a cellphone charging cord, after having dreams about the woman planning to gain financially from her.

The report also says Williams had reported seeing “demons in the sky.” A neighbor heard Williams talk about “people... trying to kill me” last Friday.

Williams has an eight-year-old son. His status is not known.
