A shooting at a North Carolina motel left a man dead, and now police say another person faces murder charges.
Last week, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina announced the arrest of Bobbie Colston Farrior, 41, in connection to the case.
Around 11 p.m. on Nov. 12, deputies responded to the Carolina Motor Inn in Fayetteville, North Carolina, for the reported shooting. A man with gunshot wounds was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim was later identified as Rafael Ramon Purdie, 39, according to the sheriff’s office.
Police have not said what led to the shooting but identified Farrior as the suspect.
He was arrested and charged with murder. He was booked into a North Carolina jail.
