Teen shot dead, two others hurt in North Carolina. Suspect arrested the next day.
One person was killed and two people were hurt in a shooting in North Carolina.
Now, police say they have arrested a 24-year-old in connection to the case
On March 24, police in Laurinburg, North Carolina, responded to Willow Drive for a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found Kaziah Zamir Wilkerson, 17, shot to death, according to Laurinburg police.
Authorities were also told of two people who came to the hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds. Both of those victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to Laurinburg police.
Officers identified Isaiah Thomas Easterling, 24, as a suspect. He was arrested the next day and charged with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, going armed to the terror of the people and discharging a firearm in city limits.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting.
