A man is accused of stabbing another person to death, and police said they are still trying to figure out if the two knew each other.
On Aug. 19, police in Gastonia, North Carolina, said they arrested 55-year-old Kevin Ramon Mosby in connection to an Aug. 3 murder.
Around 2:30 a.m. on the day, police responded to a home on Belfast Drive to check on a resident after a possible assault.
When police arrived, they found Donald Watts, 48, dead inside the home from a stabbing, according to authorities. Officers continue to investigate the stabbing and no motive has been released.
Investigators identified Mosby as the suspect, and he was arrested at a hotel on Aug. 18.
Mosby was charged with first-degree murder and is being held in a North Carolina jail without bond. Police said they are still trying to determine if the suspect knew the victim.
