A school employee in North Carolina stole medication from two students, police said.
Last week, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina arrested Holly Lyn Bare, 43, in connection to the case. She was charged with two counts of larceny and two counts of possession of stolen goods.
On Sept. 13, deputies received a report from West Lake Preparatory Academy that said an employee took medication from the nurse’s office belonging to students.
The nurse reported the incident to administrators, who started an investigation.
Surveillance video showed Bare had gone into the cabinet and took the medication on two occasions, according to the sheriff’s office.
One time happened while the nurse wasn’t looking, authorities said. The other happened when the nurse was out of the office.
