Two North Carolina men got into a fight because of “personal differences,” and it led to a deadly shooting, police said.
On Jan. 17, officers responded to a call of a reported shooting in the Peacehaven Mobile Home Park in North Carolina, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said.
At the scene, police say they found the body of Bartalome Palacios Mundo.
The deadly shooting, according to authorities, took place as a result of “personal differences” between the victim and the suspect, 46-year-old Alex Arnulfo Arevalo-Ramirez.
Arevalo-Ramirez was arrested and was booked into the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Detention Center on a charge of first-degree murder, officials said. He is being held without bond.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office at (336) 727-2112.
