A 61-year-old man is accused of stabbing a woman to death, but police are still trying to determine the relationship between the two.
Last week, police in Lincoln, Nebraska, arrested 61-year-old Charles Alexander.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 20, police found a 36-year-old woman in a home with serious injuries. The initial 911 call reported that the victim had been stabbed, police said.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries, police said. The name of the victim has not been released.
Police said the next day, officers arrested Alexander and charged him with second-degree murder and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
Investigators have not released a motive, and police said they are still trying to determine the relationship between the suspect and victim.
