Three men accused of sexual assault, holding teen captive for five days after one met victim online: cops
A Nebraska teenager allegedly was sexually assaulted by three men after she went to the home of a man she met on social media, authorities said.
The 18-year-old woman told police she connected online with Talon Dennis, 22, and agreed to meet up with him at his Lincoln residence on May 17, according to the Lincoln Journal Star.
When the alleged victim, who was reported missing after running away on May 13, arrived at Dennis’ home, she met his 24-year-old roommate, Ricky Ossler.
The woman told authorities she believed she was drugged and allegedly woke up to the two men sexually assaulting her, Officer Erin Spilker of the Lincoln Police Department said.
“She was also told that they would take care of her if she watched after their children and did housework for them,”Omaha’s KETV reported, citing a police report.
Two days later, police said, the men allegedly brought her to a second home, where they knocked her unconscious.
“When she woke up, she was being sexually assaulted by Dennis, Ossler, and another man, 23-year-old Gianni Phillips,” police said. “The men brought her back to their apartment … the following morning where she was sexually assaulted by Ossler and Dennis several more times.”
The woman, who police noted had suffered bruises, lacerations, and abrasions, managed to escape when Ossler and Dennis left their apartment.
Police have arrested Dennis, Ossler, and Phillips, and all face first-degree sexual assault and false imprisonment charges.
