Nebraska Woman Accused of Stabbing Guest Over Dirty Apartment Comment

Tatiana Iniguez reportedly choked and stabbed guests after they commented on how dirty her place was, police said.

A Nebraska woman allegedly attacked two women in her apartment, stabbing one of them, after the victim commented on how dirty her apartment was, according to authorities.

Just after midnight on Feb. 11, officers responded to a residence in Lincoln regarding a stabbing, court documents obtained by KOLN-TV state.

Once at the residence, officers found two females, who alleged 24-year-old Tatiana Iniguez beat them after they remarked on how dirty Iniguez’s house was.

The females claimed they made the remarks on the lack of cleanliness because two children were living there.

Iniguez allegedly choked one of the victims and then punched the second woman as she was trying to rescue her.

During the fight, Iniguez picked up a knife and slashed one of the women in the face, causing a ½-inch laceration under her eye, according to court documents. The stabbing victim also had defensive marks on her hands.

Four children were at the home when the fight broke out and police said they noticed an “extreme amount” of dog feces and dead mice in the basement, as well as other dirty clothing items.

Officials said the children are now in the custody of a family member.

Iniguez was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, authorities said.

Her bond was set at $25,000 and she is due back in court on March 14.
