Nevada Fire Department Battalion Chief Accused Of Exploiting The Elderly

A Nevada fire department battalion chief was arrested this week as he's accused of suspicion of elderly exploitation.
Police arrested Steven Broadwell, 52, a former battalion chief with the Clark County Fire Department on charges of exploiting an older or vulnerable person and theft from an elderly or vulnerable person, according to the Henderson Police Department.
According to police, the investigation began in June.

Broadwell had been employed with Clark County since 1995. County spokesman Erik Pappa said that Broadwell had worked a battalion chief for a portion of the eastern Las Vegas Valley since September 2018.
Police didn't release further information on the investigation.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Broadwell was due in court this week.
