A New Hampshire man managed to get arrested for assault twice in the same day over last weekend.
According to police, Manchester officers went to a Concord Street address for the report of an assault. When they arrived, officers learned that two men had been in a physical altercation.
Once the incident escalated, one man, later identified as 37-year-old Rocky Garcia, hit the other man over the head with a glass bottle, causing an injury.
Garcia was taken into custody and charged with second-degree assault. Later that day, Garcia was released on a personal recognizance bond.
Then, a little before 7 p.m., Manchester police were called to the same address where the first assault took place for a reported stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found two men fighting, and one was Garcia. Police determined that no stabbing had taken place, but Garcia was arrested again.
Garcia was charged with simple assault, stalking and resisting arrest for the second incident. He was also found to be in violation of bail stemming from the first arrest.
