A 79-year-old man used public wi-fi to distribute child porn at various locations in New Jersey, prosecutors said.
Last week, William Geisz, 79, was arrested and charged with first-degree using a file-sharing program to store items depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of child, according to the Middlesex Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. He was also charged with two counts of second-degree distribution child of pornography and disorderly persons lewdness.
Investigators said Geisz used public wi-fi at stores in Edison, Woodbridge and East Brunswick, all in New Jersey, to upload and distribute child porn.
Prosecutors did not detail how many images and videos Geisz allegedly shared using the public networks.
