Authorities in New Jersey capture fugitive accused of fatally stabbing man during fight at NYC nightclub
A fugitive who allegedly killed a man in the early morning hours at a New York City nightclub was apprehended at a home in New Jersey, authorities said.
Multiple agencies, including members of the Hudson County Regional SWAT Team, the United States Marshals Service, and the New York Police Department, took Kegwin Clarke into custody on Feb. 5 at an apartment in Bayonee, New Jersey, around 6 a.m., NJ.com reported.
Clarke, 26, is accused of fatally stabbing 22-year-old Miles Gibson in the back when the two got into an argument at Harbor Rooftop Terrace and Lounge in Mahnattan on Jan. 29 around 4 a.m.
At the time of his death, Gibson was free on bail in connection to the murder of a Bronx DJ in 2019, The New York Post reported.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said investigators at Clarke's home following his arrest allegedly found two handguns, extended magazines, hollow point ammunition, marijuana and cash.
