Around 10 a.m. July 29., New Orleans police officers responded to a call of aggravated battery by shooting.
When they arrived, authorities found a male victim who had sustained gunshot wounds to the chest, according to New Orleans police.
The victim was transported via ambulance to the hospital, where he later died.
