Group Kicked In Apartment Door To Get Items Back, They Left With A 60-Year-Old Man Dead

A 60-year-old man was gunned down in a shooting and now police said they arrested the man who fired the fatal shot.
On Aug. 7, police in Albuquerque, New Mexico, responded to a shooting at an apartment complex. When officers arrived, they found David Salazar, 60, dead from a gunshot, police said.
Investigators noticed the front door was damaged to the home.
Witnesses said the door was kicked in and three people entered the apartment, police said. They got into an altercation over items belonging to Salazar’s ex. Then, the shooting started.
Detectives determined that Derrik Bonner, 29, fired the deadly shot.
He was arrested in recent days and charged with open murder and aggravated burglary.
