A victim was found dead in New Mexico and now a teen faces murder charges, police said.
On July 31, members of the Lea County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home to help local police in a case. Deputies were told that a homicide happened north of Lovington, New Mexico, on July 28.
Investigators were led to an “abandoned gin” where they found a body concealed on the premises.
The victim’s identity has not been confirmed, according to police.
Investigators identified the suspect as Antwian Nilo Sosa, and he was arrested last week. Authorities did not say how they tied Sosa to the case or release a motive for the killing.
Sosa was charged with first-degree murder, three counts of tampering with evidence and a host of other charges.
