Two years after a 14-year-old girl was raped at a Halloween beach party, police make arrests in case

A 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at a Halloween party in 2018, and two years later police say they have made several arrests in connection to her alleged rape.

Carolina Beach police say the investigation began after information and evidence was found from the house party, according to WWAY. Officials said the girl was assaulted by multiple attendees who recorded and photographed the assault.

More than two years later, Carolina Beach police said they have arrested Austen Charles Tounsel Montouri, Brayden David Walker, Corey Tate Webster, Nicholas James Foutty and Riley Scott Crouch and they have all been charged with crimes connected to the sexual assault of the victim.

Police said Patrick Austin Wise also has an outstanding warrant for this case.

Officials did not detail why it took more than two years to arrest the suspects in the case.

WWAY reported the breakdown of all the charges for the sex men:

• Montouri: One count of sexual exploitation of a minor – $100,000 secured bond.
• Walker: One count of second-degree forcible rape, one count of second-degree forcible sex offense, one count of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor – $50,000 secured bond.
• Webster: Two counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of second-degree forcible sex offense, three counts of assault on law enforcement – $130,000 secured bond.
• Foutty: One count second-degree forcible rape, one count of statutory rape of a child, one count statutory sex offense of a child, one count of second-degree forcible sex offense, three counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of indecent liberties with a child – $100,000 secured bond.
• Crouch: One count of statutory sex offense of a minor, one count of second-degree forcible sex offense, three counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor – $125,000 secured bond.
• Wise: Wanted for one count of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
