Woman accused of shooting her partner at a North Carolina home
A woman is facing a murder charge for shooting her partner, police in North Carolina said.
Last week, Joselynn Fay Mead was charged with second-degree murder in connection to the murder of Darrin Sean Tinsley.
Shortly after midnight on Dec. 3, the Buncombe County Sheriff’s office responded to a Candler, North Carolina, home. There, they found Tinsley with a gunshot wound.
Mead and Tinley were in a domestic relationship, and she was taken into custody without incident.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting.
Mead is being held in the Buncombe County jail without bond. Second-degree murder is punishable by up to life in prison.
