Hairstylist murdered during a convenience store robbery in SC, suspect arrested in NC

A man in North Carolina has been charged for killing a hairstylist during a robbery of a convenience store in South Carolina, police say.
Demarcus Lee Bluett was arrested on May 26 in North Carolina, according to the Florence County (SC) Sheriff's Office.
He has been charged with murder, armed robbery, first-degree arson, malicious injury to animals, personal property, injury value $2,000 or less, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and two counts of failure to appear.
In the early morning hours of May 1, Bluett allegedly approached Mary Brown, robbed her and shot her before fleeing in a vehicle, according to the sheriff's office. Brown was a hairstylist before she was gunned down.
Earlier that day, investigators say Bluett shot into a coin-operated washing machine compartment to gain access to the money inside, according to the sheriff's office
Bluett was taken into custody in Guilford County, North Carolina, and he waived extradition to Florence County. He will be held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
In South Carolina, only a circuit court judge can set bond on murder charges.
Another man, Jonathan Lee Love, was previously arrested in connection with Brown’s murder, according to CBS 17.
Schquitia Ieisha Jackson was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact of a felony, CBS 17 reported.
