North Carolina Woman Faces Assault Charges For Glass Bottle Attack On Boyfriend; Son Accused Of Stabbing Him In Neck

A woman in North Carolina has been arrested after allegedly attacking her boyfriend with a glass bottle before her son stabbed him in the neck, according to authorities.
Around 10:30 p.m. on April 16, officers responded to a stabbing call in Richlands and found a male victim with a stab wound to his neck, the Fayetteville Police Department said.
Medics transported the victim, who remained unidentified, to a local hospital, where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
Investigators went to the residence and discovered the victim had gotten into a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, 32-year-old April Mcrae.
According to police, Mcrae allegedly hit her boyfriend with a glass bottle during an argument.
That is when Mcrae’s son, whose age was not revealed, allegedly stabbed the victim in the neck.

Mcrae was arrested and booked into the Cumberland County Jail without bond, officials said. She was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Her son was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, according to authorities. He was booked into the Juvenile Detention Center.
