Two Adults, Six Children Died In Oklahoma After They Were Each Shot, Set On Fire In Octuple Murder-Suicide
New information has been released about an Oklahoma couple and their six children who were found dead in what police now believe was a murder-suicide.
Last October, emergency responders received a report of a house fire in Broken Arrow, a suburb just outside Tulsa, KTUL reported.
At the scene, two adults and six children were found dead inside the burning residence.
Police suspected foul play and launched a homicide investigation in connection with the blaze. An Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's report recently obtained by KFOR confirmed officers' suspicions.
According to the report, the two adults each were killed with a single gunshot to the head. The six children were also each fatally shot before the house was set on fire.
“Broken Arrow police investigators have reviewed the medical examiner’s reports in reference to the incident we reported as an octuple murder-suicide in October 2022,” the Broken Arrow Police Department said, adding, “We have no additional information to provide the public at this time regarding this incident.”
