‘Most Sickening, Horrifying Crime I Have Seen’: Ohio Father Accused of Lining Up 3 Sons in Yard, Shooting Them Execution-Style

Ohio authorities said a father is facing charges following an incident described by prosecutors as “an act of incomprehensible cruelty" in connection with the shooting deaths of his three sons in the yard of their family home.
Around 4:15 p.m. on June 15, deputies received a call from a woman saying her “babies had been shot,” according to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office.
Minutes later, a person driving down the street called 911 and reported seeing a girl “running down the road stating that her father was killing everyone.”
Officers arrived at the scene and found 32-year-old Chad Doerman sitting outside in the yard along with three unresponsive male juveniles who were suffering from gunshot wounds, officials said.
Deputies attempted lifesaving measures until EMS arrived, but the three children, ages 3, 4 and 7 years old, did not survive their injuries.
Police also found a 34-year-old woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to her hand. She was taken to the hospital, where she was informed that her sons were dead.
Doerman was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated murder, officials said.
Clermont County prosecutor David Gast said Doerman “lined up his three young boys and executed them in his own home with a rifle,” WLWT-TV reported.
During the incident, Gast said one of the boys escaped, but Doerman allegedly “hunted that boy down, brought him back to the property and executed him in front of witnesses.”

Clermont County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Tekulve said he has been a lawyer for 35 years and “this is by far the most sickening, horrifying crime I have seen,” WLWT-TV reported.
Doerman is being held on a $20 million bond and could face additional charges once prosecutors present the case to a grand jury, according to officials.
