Ohio Mother Arrested After Child, 4, Caught Driving with 2-Year-Old Sibling as Passenger: Court Documents

A mother in Ohio has been arrested after police say they caught the woman’s 4-year-old child driving a car with a toddler as a passenger.
Around 10 p.m. on Feb. 11, officers responded to a location in Cincinnati for a report of a domestic incident, according to court documents obtained by WXIX-TV.
Responding officers found a 4-year-old behind the wheel of a Honda Accord with a 2-year-old child also inside the vehicle, officials said.
The 4-year-old was reportedly driving and reversing the vehicle while in a parking space.
Police were eventually able to stop the vehicle and park it, according to authorities.

On Feb. 12, Cincinnati Police arrested the mother, 23-year-old Theresa Smith, and charged her with two counts of endangering children.
She was booked into the Hamilton County Jail and bond was set at $10,000, officials said.
