A disturbance between roommates in Ohio led to a fatal stabbing, police said.
On March 6, police in Columbus, Ohio, responded to a home for a reported stabbing. When officers arrived, they found John Malinchak lying in the street, according to Columbus police.
Malinchak was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police arrested John Malinchak and charged him with murder in connection to the stabbing.
Investigators believe a disturbance between the roommates led to the alleged assault, according to Columbus police. But authorities did not describe what type of disturbance or what led to the altercation.
Police say the incident remains under investigation.
