OHIO MAN LIVED UNDER TEEN’S BED FOR THREE WEEKS AND RAPED HER, COURT DOCS SAY
An Ohio man is accused of snapping nude photos of a teenage girl and raping her — all while living under her bed for nearly a month, police said.
According to the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, Jaret Wright, 20, met the girl, who is between 13 and 18 years old, on Instagram, Cincinnati’s WXIX-TV reported.
He then hid out under her bed at her family’s College Hill home in Cincinnati. During that time, court documents alleged, Wright forced the teenager to have sex.
According to the Akron Beacon Journal, the alleged victim’s mother found out about Wright after he had been staying in the home for three weeks.

Wright is charged with one count of ill use of a minor in nudity-oriented material and three counts of rape. His bail was set at $50,000, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department records show.
Dr. Ed Connor, a psychologist who has not treated the alleged victim or suspect, told WXIX-TV that perpetrators older than their prey are often “quite good at grooming and convincing the victim that they’re simply a friend and out for their best interests.”
“Parents have to be intrusive,” Connor recommended. “They have to be more involved with what their child is doing on social media or the internet.”
