An Ohio woman was arrested after she allegedly defecated on a church altar and then used the runner on the altar to clean up, according to authorities.
On May 13, Laura Miniard, 26, entered the chapel at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati and reportedly defecated on the altar, WXIX-TV reported.
Miniard then reportedly used the cloth runner on the altar to wipe herself, officials said.
Court documents state Miniard smeared her feces on the altar table using a picture she found inside the chapel.
Officials did not explain why Miniard allegedly desecrated the altar inside the chapel.
