Remains Of Burned Toddler Found In Oklahoma Home, Now 2 Adults Face Charges

A couple in Oklahoma face charges after police said they discovered the remains of a burned toddler in a home.
On July 26, police in Seminole, Oklahoma, received a tip about a possible child’s death, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
Officers got a search warrant and went into a home. There, they found the burned remains of a toddler.

The name and age of the victim have not been released.
Authorities determined the crime happened at another house where Chad Jennings lived with his girlfriend, Katherine Penner. Police did not detail the couple’s relationship with the child.
Both suspects were arrested and charged. Jennings was charged with first-degree murder, child abuse by injury and conspiracy. Penner was charged with accessory to murder, child abuse by injury and desecration of a human corpse.
