Dispute over line cutting for Oktoberfest shuttle led to a fight that put one man in the ICU and another in cuffs: cops
A man faces charges for attacking another person in a dispute over someone cutting the line for an Oktoberfest shuttle, according to police.
Around 12:45 a.m., police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, responded to the shuttle’s location for the reported incident. When officers arrived, Bryce Eitel told them he “punched him once in the face,” according to Tulsa police.
Witnesses said they saw Eitel and the victim get into a fight that started over someone cutting in line, Tulsa police said.
Eitel punched the victim, knocking him to the pavement, witnesses told police. Eitel then got on top of the victim and hit him several more times, police said. Witnesses pulled Eitel off the victim and a nurse was nearby and started to perform CPR.
The victim was taken to the hospital with broken bones and a possible brain bleed, police said. The victim was in the ICU and if the person’s condition changes, the charges against Eitel could be upgraded, police said.
For now, he was charged with aggravated assault and battery.
