Man forced his way inside an Oklahoma home, shoots and kills victim: police
A man forced his way into a gathering in Oklahoma where he shot and killed a victim, police said.
Around 2 a.m. n Feb. 20, police responded to a home in Boise City, Oklahoma, for a reported shooting, according to the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation.
Officer arrived and found Eric Ortega, 34, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the bureau.
Boise City police then asked for help from state agents in the investigation.
Police said that Jonathan Robinson, 26, forced his way into the home during a gathering. Robinson encountered Robinson, who then fired a shot.
Officers at the scene arrested Robinson scene and he was taken to Cimarron County Jail. He currently remains incarcerated. Police have not said why Robinson was trying to force his way in to the home.
