The Oklahoma City Police Department has made public video footage of an incident that occurred at a mental health care facility in March, which resulted in injuries to an officer and three employees.
On March 13, 19-year-old Christian Green became combative with medical staff during his intake process at the Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center, KFOR reported. At the time, Green said he was experiencing suicidal thoughts.
Court records show Green tore a metal clip off a clipboard and started cutting himself with it.
Medical staff tried to intervene and stop Green from harming himself. According to investigators, Green then slashed the back of the head of the staff member using the same metal clip.
Another staff member was hit over the head with “a hole punch during a struggle,” investigators said.
When a responding officer arrived at the facility, the officer tried to get Green to put down the three-hole punch but Green started approaching the officer, telling him to “pull that gun, I wanna die.”

A scuffle between Green and the officer began, which can be seen in the video.
During the scuffle, Green grabbed the officer’s gun and pulled the trigger. The bullet grazed the officer, authorities said.

According to authorities, the officer and at least one employee were taken to the hospital for treatment.
