Around 10:15 a.m. that same day, the Oklahoma City Police Department was also called to a home in response to a double murder.

Once at the scene, officers said they found two bodies that appeared to have been stabbed to death. According to authorities, the victims were identified as Kim Nguyen, 59, and Van Thiet Tran, 56.

Police determined that Kenny Tran, the suicide case they investigated earlier in the morning, was the son of the couple found in that home.

Officials said Kenny Tran killed his parents and then took his own life. However, what motivated Kenny to allegedly kill his parents is unknown.
